Lacrosse began in San Diego in 1977 with 4 teams
and over 3 decades it has spread County Wide
to 45+ High School Teams. Lacrosse became a CIF Sport in 2002 and Granite Hills Lacrosse Team was was formed in
1983. It is one of the Original 4 teams in San Diego County along with Poway,
Coronado, and Crawford. Jeff McDade took over the Program in 2006 from Seth Bokmeyer who coached from 1999 to 2005.
